Miguel Sano, 3B, Minnesota Twins

Price: $3,900

If you've been counting on Miguel Sano's batted-ball numbers to cool off after a tremendous start, you've been consistently disappointed. His batted-ball profile this year is absurd, with a 53.4% hard-hit rate, 4.5% soft-hit rate and 46.6% fly-ball rate, and he ranks 4th in the majors in average batted-ball distance and 1st in average exit velocity this season.

His recent numbers are right up there as well, ranking 9th in batted-ball distance and 3rd in exit velocity over the past 15 days.

He draws a promising matchup today against Los Angeles Angels righty Alex Meyer, who has shown some pretty serious control issues at the major league level. Through 14 games (11 starts), Meyer has posted a 4.87 SIERA with a brutal 15.9% walk rate -- and he hasn't shown any sign of improvement in 2017, with a 4.89 SIERA and 16.8% walk rate through 5 starts.

If Sano doesn't return to the lineup, Josh Donaldson ($4,100) is priced in the same neighborhood, and he's off to a strong start through a small sample this season, tagging southpaws for a .396 wOBA on a 38.3% hard-hit rate in 2016. Donaldson is in a good spot against CC Sabathia, who's on pace for a career-worst 4.58 SIERA in 2017 while allowing a 38.8% hard-hit rate to right-handed sticks.
