Joey Votto, 1B, Cincinnati Reds

Price: $4,500

Joey Votto has opened the year with a .418 wOBA, and with marks above .400 in seven of the last eight seasons, it's pretty safe to assume that's no fluke. His hard-hit rate sits at a solid 36.3%, and his fly-ball rate is up to 41.5% -- which is on pace to be his highest mark since 2007.

Votto also does his best work against right-handed pitching, with a career .419 wOBA and 38.8% hard-hit rate, making his matchup against Cleveland Indians righty Josh Tomlin a good one.

Despite his 6.86 ERA, Tomlin has actually had a pretty decent start to the season with a 3.60 SIERA. However, he is allowing a 38.0% hard-hit rate with only a 9.9% soft-hit rate to left-handed hitters. With a career 4.02 xFIP against lefties he doesn't pose a big threat to Votto's production.
