After posting an outstanding .425 wOBA in 2016, Gary Sanchez opened 2017 with a .379 wOBA, and over his young career he is slashing .295/.378/.609 with a .411 wOBA, .314 isolated slugging and 40.8% hard-hit rate.

Yankees bats are in a good spot tonight against the struggling Danny Duffy, and this is especially true for the right-handed sticks, as Duffy has allowed a .332 wOBA and 4.82 xFIP to right-handed hitters this season, putting Sanchez in an excellent spot.
