Everyone loves using the Boomstick, Nelson Cruz, in DFS, but tonight might be one slate to pass.

Sure, Cruz is always a decent bet to hit one out against a mediocre pitcher like Jesse Hahn, but Safeco Field isn't getting in on the strong winds and/or high temperatures benefiting ballparks around the league.

Furthermore, Hahn actually does a good job of keeping the ball out of the air against righties, limiting them to a career 55.2% ground-ball rate and 22.2% hard-hit rate.

As a contrarian play, you can certainly do worse than using Cruz, but with ideal hitting conditions in other spots -- and particularly in Wrigley -- you're going to want to spend up in other matchups.
