Jacob DeGrom, P, New York Mets

This may not be the best slate to pay up for when it comes to pitching, but if you are, Jacob deGrom is your guy.

Even after a disappointing outing in his last start, deGrom has been terrific this year. He owns a 3.25 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA), and his 31.6% strikeout rate is on pace to be a career high, being held up by an excellent 15.7% swinging strike rate. He has fanned double-digit batters in three of his last four starts.

His matchup isn't ideal for fantasy, taking on a San Francisco Giants team that strikes out at a below-average rate against right-handed pitching. However, the Giants also boast an ugly 68 wRC+ against righties, and the New York Mets are the day's second-biggest favorites (-154 money line) while the Giants' 3.16 implied total is the lowest on the slate.
