Daniel Murphy, 2B, Washington Nationals

FanDuel Price: $4,300

In spite of all those nice things I just said about the Nationals, outside of a Nats stack, you're better off not using Daniel Murphy.

It's typically not ideal to use bats in lefty-lefty matchups to begin with, and this is no exception against Robbie Ray. Although he struggles with walks, that isn't the case with southpaws -- he has a career 27.7% strikeout rate and 5.8% walk rate against them.

Recently, Murphy has also been supplanted from the cleanup spot by the hot-hitting Ryan Zimmerman. He's now hitting fifth, which docks his value down a peg.

Above all, Murphy is the highest-priced second baseman on the slate. When you're paying up at a position, you want the best possible matchup, which this is decidedly not.

If you want to spend up at the keystone position, Jose Altuve ($4,200), Robinson Cano ($4,000) and Brian Dozier ($3,900) are all better choices.
