One player that's started a bit slowly, but picked up the pace recently is Jose Quintana of the Chicago White Sox.

Why You Should Use Him:

While Quintana has his worts and may only hold a 1-4 record, he's shown some signs of life recently.

He's posted back-to-back quality starts, and what's really grabbed the attention for fantasy players are his strikeouts. Quintana's strikeout rate currently stands at a career-best 23.3%, and it's been even better over his last two starts -- he's whiffed 16 of 49 batters faced, which is good for an eye-popping 32.7% rate.

Combine that with the Kansas City Royals league-worst .272 wOBA, and you have all the makings of a big fantasy day.
