After Sale, his opponent, Masahiro Tanaka, is arguably the next best pitcher on the mound tonight.

The slate may be small, but don't get cute and pick Tanaka. He might be a solid season-long fantasy asset, but in DFS, he generally amounts to "meh."

Through four starts, Tanaka's strikeout rate is below league average (19.4%), and although an intriguing 13.4% swinging-strike rate hints at some improvement, he's up against the Boston Red Sox, who have the lowest strikeout rate in the league (16.7%).

When the alternative is Sale and his ridiculous 38.9% strikeout rate, do you really need to know any more than that? Lock Sale in, throw out the key, and differentiate yourself with hitters instead.
