Khris Davis has seen remarkably similar production against left- and right-handed pitching over his career. So when he's against a struggling pitcher, he's almost always going to be in play.

He has opened this season with a very strong .403 wOBA and 46.8% hard-hit rate after finishing 2016 with a .349 wOBA, .277 isolated slugging (ISO) and 39.1% hard-hit rate.

Ricky Nolasco doesn't pose much of a threat, with SIERAs north of 4.00 in each of the last three seasons and a 4.11 mark to start 2017. Through four starts, he's allowing a 34.2% hard-hit rate -- which would be a single-season career high -- and that gives Davis some serious upside.
