Ezequiel Carrera, OF, Toronto Blue Jays

FanDuel Price: $2,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There's a bevy of great outfield options on the day, and one that continues to be white hot is Houston Astros outfielder George Springer. He hit another homer on Tuesday, now giving him 7 dingers to go along with 12 RBI this season. The Astros also get to face J.C. Ramirez on Wednesday, who's struggled to the tune of a 7.20 ERA and 2.23 WHIP through 10 innings pitched this year.

One of the biggest disappointments so far in 2017 has been the Toronto Blue Jays offense -- they rank second-worst in team wOBA (.278), and it's a big reason the team has struggled to a 2-11 start. Ezequiel Carrera is usually an afterthought on a team that has well known and proven position players, but his .720 OPS and 21.7% hard-hit rate at this point will also help him get overlooked.

Why You Should Use Him:

While the Blue Jays continue to struggle, Carrera holds down a nice spot in the order once Toronto inevitably breaks out by hitting second in each of his last two starts.

Reigning American League Cy Young winner, Rick Porcello, opposes the Blue Jays, but he's also had a rough start to the year. Historically, he's been worse against left-handed hitters (.339 wOBA versus lefties, .304 wOBA versus righties), and it's gotten even worse against lefties this year -- they've rocked a .433 wOBA against Porcello over 34 total batters faced.

Carrera provides some nice salary relief at a great price point while hitting in a great park -- tonight's game is at the Rogers Centre, which ranks ninth in park factor over the last three seasons.
