Michael Conforto enjoyed quite the yo-yo season in 2016. In the first full month, Conforto hit .385 with 4 home runs and 11 doubles in 83 plate appearances, good for a cool 1.118 OPS.

While Conforto kept hitting for decent power, he pretty much stopped hitting for anything else. He hit .169 in May and followed it up with .119 average in June. Not surprisingly, he was demoted twice in 2016.

But Conforto has flashed power at all levels as a hitter, and he smacked 9 dingers in just 194 plate appearances in 2015. All of 2016 wasn't lost after the demotion -- in the last month of the year, Conforto showed a glimpse of previous form, posting a wRC+ of 131 in 48 plate appearances.

While Citi Field isn't the greatest for left-handed bats, Conforto has shown himself to be perfectly capable of plus power as a big leaguer, and he may get overlooked due to his struggles last year and his platoon splits.
