Dylan Bundy, Baltimore Orioles

Consensus SP Rank: 100

When you have the pedigree of being the fourth overall pick, lofty expectations are quickly set, which can be real hard to achieve.

Drafted out of high school in 2011, the Baltimore Orioles had high hopes for Dylan Bundy, but after Tommy John surgery derailed his rise to stardom, his future became much more uncertain.

However, he received his first real taste of big-league action last season (he threw 1.2 innings in 2012). Bundy began as a reliever, but he actually performed better once he was transitioned from the bullpen to the rotation.

As a starter, Bundy posted a strikeout rate of 23.5% (19.2% as a reliever) and bumped his ground-ball rate up to 38.6% (31.4% as a reliever) while posting an xFIP of nearly half a run lower (4.93 tp 4.45).

While the young Orioles hurler did just turn 24 and there may be some additional growing pains, Bundy is a late-round pick certainly worth your attention because he'll have the opportunity to pitch in what's a pretty thin (on talent) Orioles rotation.
