John Jaso, 1B, Pittsburgh Pirates

FanDuel Price: $2,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Facing Cardinals' ace Carlos Martinez and sporting one of the lowest implied team totals of 3.22 runs, the Pirates should be overlooked by many DFSers.

Why You Should Use Him:

Martinez has been fantastic in 2016 for the Cardinals, logging a 15-9 record and a solid 4.04 SIERA.

But one thing Martinez has historically struggled with is left-handed hitters. In 2016, lefties are slugging .394 against Martinez (versus .272 for righties), and Martinez allows a hard hit rate to lefties of 33.7%. Enter John Jaso, who hit for the cycle this week. Jaso has knocked all 7 of his 2016 home runs against righties, and is sporting an impressive .945 OPS in September over 48 plate appearances.
