While Welington Castillo's production hasn't been overly impressive this season, he is posting career-best marks with a huge 40.1% hard-hit rate and 12.8% soft-hit rate. His production has also been much more solid if we just look at his splits against left-handed pitching. Versus southpaws, he is slashing .282/.347/.536 with a .372 wOBA and .255 ISO.

That success against lefties makes tonight's matchup with Wade Miley particularly appealing. Miley has a 4.42 SIERA on the year while he is allowing a huge .364 wOBA to right-handed hitters.
