Dallas Cowboys

FanDuel Price: $4,600
Projections: 21.37 points allowed, 2.04 sacks, 1.82 turnovers, 0.26 touchdowns

Monday night, Chicago Bears’ quarterback Jay Cutler injured his thumb and will be sidelined for a few weeks. Luckily for the Dallas Cowboys, that means they will host veteran journeyman Brian Hoyer in Week 3.

We’ve seen bad Brian Hoyer before. Remember the Wild Card game against the Kansas City Chiefs last season where Hoyer committed five turnovers? Yeah, that’s always in play when he steps on the field. Vegas and bettors alike understand the downgrade from Cutler to Hoyer -- the Bears' implied team total has dropped 2.25 points to 18.5 since the news of the quarterback change.

Despite their upside this week, the Dallas D/ST will be super low owned this week for two reasons. One, they scored just 4.0 and 5.0 FanDuel points in each of the first two weeks, leaving many DFS players to gloss over their 4.5 point-per-game average. Secondly, the Dolphins are the same exact price, and more people will be jumping on that matchup. High upside at low ownership is how you climb the leaderboard in large field tournaments.
