Why He Will Go Overlooked:
The Diamondbacks travel to PetCo Park in San Diego with a mediocre implied team total of 4.22 runs. Given several of the high implied team totals, including the Cardinals-Rockies and Angels-Rangers, Yasmany Tomas and his Diamondback teammates will go under the radar.
Why You Should Use Him:
Despite his low price tag, Tomas has been fantastic as of late. Over the last 14 days, Tomas has the fourth-highest hard-hit rate in the league at 41.9%.
Tomas and his teammates will face Paul Clemens. Clemens, in a small sample size of 30 1/3 innings pitched in 2016, has allowed a .640 slugging percentage and .433 wOBA to right-handed bats.
In 142 plate appearances against righties, Clemens has allowed one out of every eight batters to hit a double or home run against him. Even in PetCo, which ranks 19th in home runs in 2016, Tomas makes for a great upside play.
