Oakland Athletics' rookie Daniel Mengden has had a rough start to his major league career. He owns a 6.39 ERA and 4.67 SIERA through 11 outings.

The Kansas City Royals have a 4.90 implied total in their matchup against Mengden tonight, and this is a good spot to get Kendrys Morales with a low price tag.

Morales does his best work against righties, slashing a career .272/.334/.479 with a .349 wOBA, .207 ISO and 35.5% hard-hit rate. He is making terrific contact this year, with a career-best 40.7% hard-hit rate and only a 13.1% soft-hit rate.

While his production has been stifled a bit by a .279 BABIP (compared to his career average of .298), Morales could be in for a big night.
