Ryan Howard, 1B, Philadelphia Phillies

FanDuel Price: $2,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

With so many good options at first base, there's a lot of value at the position. Anthony Rizzo should see heavy ownership after his two home runs on Tuesday. Paul Goldschmidt faces a rookie in Brock Stewart, and Edwin Encarnacion will see recent callup Bryan Mitchell. With Ryan Howard being the 23rd-most expensive first baseman on the slate, he should see pretty low ownership.

Why You Should Use Him:

Howard is hitting under the Mendoza line this season at .194, but he has managed to hit 20 home runs. He will take aim at Andrew Cashner, who has really struggled in 2016. Cashner is allowing 1.21 home runs per nine innings, by far his highest mark as a starter, and he owns a 4.75 SIERA.

Cashner is allowing a slugging percentage of .498 to left-handed hitters this year, and they've also homered at a pretty healthy clip (1.33 home runs per nine innings pitched).

Given that Cashner is allowing a 37% fly-ball rate, and Howard boasts a 43% fly-ball rate, it gives the Phillies' first baseman some serious upside.
