Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Father time is catching up quickly with Albert Pujols, and he's currently on pace for the second-lowest on-base percentage (OBP) of his career at .326. With Anthony Rizzo hitting in Miller Park against Wily Peralta and Joey Votto taking hacks at home, Pujols may not see big ownership tonight.

Why You Should Use Him:

While the OBP numbers aren't pretty in 2016, Pujols continues to rack up strong numbers against left-handed pitching. He will take aim against southpaw Ross Detwiler, who has a 4.87 SIERA in 33 1/3 innings this season. Pujols sports an .884 OPS against lefties with an ISO of .254.

Pujols has enjoyed a particularly hot run as of late as he's already bashed four home runs in September. In his last six games, Pujols has logged 20-plus fantasy points four times.

Given the other strong options available and a not-all-that-attractive implied team total of 4.27 runs for the Los Angeles Angels, Pujols should make for a contrarian play.
