Justin Morneau has put together solid numbers against right-handed pitching over his career, slashing .297/.373/.518 with a .377 wOBA, .221 ISO and 34.8% hard-hit rate.

He missed the start of the season after having elbow surgery in the off-season, but he is sporting a decent .342 wOBA through 84 plate appearances on the year. The fact that he seems to be back to decent form following the surgery combined with that career success against righties mean that tonight's matchup with Tom Koehler is a good one.

Koehler is sporting a career-worst 4.88 SIERA on the season, while he's posting a career-high 10.6% walk rate. He also has a 4.85 xFIP against left-handed hitters on the season.
