Eddie Lacy, Green Bay Packers

2015 ADP: RB3
2015 Finish: RB32
2016 ADP: RB10

Entering his fourth season, Eddie Lacy has become a bit of a divisive player.

On one hand, he finished his first two seasons as the RB8 and RB6 as the perfect complementary piece to Green Bay's effective passing attack. However, last year he struggled with both health and weight as he plummeted to an RB32 finish.

Which Lacy will we see this year?

We've already seen reports that Lacy looks to be both healthy and have his weight in check, striking out two major concerns. But there's reason for more optimism with Lacy in 2016.

Green Bay will be getting a healthy Jordy Nelson back and added Jared Cook to help spread out opposing defenses. The Packers often have a third receiver on the field and now have the luxury of splitting out Cook for even wider running lanes for Lacy to run through this year.

A study at ProFootballFocus by Mike Clay noted that Lacy had the sixth-best yards per carry against base defenses (4.9 yards per carry), a big jump from his 3.5 mark in 2014.

So we've seen Lacy improve against stacked boxes last season, and we could also see an increase in fewer defenders for him to face in 2016? That sounds like a winning formula for Lacy and the Packers to capitalize on.

A healthy Lacy was also a beast in the red zone during his first two seasons where he scored 21 touchdowns from inside the opponent's 20-yard line. The Packers averaged 4.0 red zone scoring attempts per game during that two-year period. Last year? Only 3.3.

If the Packers' offense can get back on track after a down year in 2015, Lacy could far outshine his current ADP with effective rushing productivity and touchdown potential.
