Running Back

Chalk

Week in and week out, there's a lot of value at the running back slot, and Week 10 should be no different.

For starters, let's talk about the big boys, and Melvin Gordon ($8,900) certainly is worth mentioning. After missing some time due to injury, Gordon returned for a Week 9 contest against the Seattle Seahawks and grabbed 17 total touches for 123 all-purposes yards and a score.

Todd Gurley produced his lowest point total of 2018 with a 16.9 FanDuel point output in the Los Angeles Rams first loss of 2018. Next up is a Seahawks defense that Gordon roasted a week ago, and his floor is certainly one we shouldn't ignore.

For a cheaper option, Duke Johnson is likely to see heavy ownership levels. The Cleveland Browns running back, at only $5,600, faces a negative game script thanks to being 6.5-point underdogs. After posting 25.1 FanDuel points a week ago, Johnson is likely to be a big part of Sunday's attack.

Pivot

Mike Davis, Seattle Seahawks: $5,800 (vs Los Angeles Rams)

This one is heavily dependent on Chris Carson's availability, but all signs are pointing to him sitting this contest out after leaving Week 9 early. That's good news for DFS players and season-long owners of Mike Davis.

Once Carson was unavailable, Davis grabbed 72.8% of snaps in Week 8, logging 22 touches, including 7 catches, for 107 total yards.

Don't forget that the Rams run defense, which clocks in sixth-worst per our metrics, was shredded by this same 'Hawks running attack for 184 rushing yards in Week 5.

We have Davis projected for 10.0 FanDuel points, but with tournament upside of 22.87 FanDuel points. Davis rocked his way to 26.4 FanDuel points in Week 4 as the lead back, so he makes for a solid choice at a cheap price.
