4 NFL FanDuel Tournament Pivots for Week 10
Wide Receiver
Chalk
As the top passers go in Week 10, so do the top pass catchers, making the chalky wide receivers fairly easy to identify.
On the main slate, the top over/under resides in Cincinnati with a shootout expected between the New Orleans Saints and the Cincinnati Bengals (54.0 points). That puts guys like Michael Thomas and Tyler Boyd firmly on the radar screen for DFS players.
With Tom Brady likely to light up the score board, that could put Josh Gordon and Julian Edelman in play, too.
In checking our heat map, the highest implied team total resides yet again in Kansas City (33.0 points), which dials up guys like Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins. We have Hill projected for the third-most FanDuel points on the main slate for wide receivers (16.2).
Pivot
Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals: $5,800 (at Kansas City Chiefs)
To say that the 2018 season for the Arizona Cardinals has gone poorly would be an understatement.
The passing offence checks in third-worst per our metrics, which led to offensive coordinator Mike McCoy getting fired. So why should you roster Larry Fitzgerald, who's only averaging 8.3 FanDuel PPG?
It may be a limited sample, but there's definitely been some positives to watch with Byron Leftwich assuming play-calling duties:
#Cardinals notes from Byron "the Truth" Leftwich play-calling debut:
* emphasis on max protect
* heavy use screen game
* Rosen quickest release all year
* David Johnson year-high 30 routes run
* Larry Fitz dominated targets (12) & Air Yds (109)
* Seals-Jones year-high 37 routes

This isn't exactly a great Kansas City pass defense, either -- they rank 27th overall and 17th against the pass, and have been roasted by guys like Keenan Allen (eight catches, 108 receiving yards, one touchdown) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (13-121-1).
Pass volume shouldn't be an issue, as the Cards sit as massive 16.5-point underdogs. With Fitzgerald potentially ready for 22.27 FanDuel point upside, a 3.87-times return on a cheap salary is a solid pivot.
