Start Latavius Murray as a Favorite

The Minnesota Vikings are three-point road favorites against the Philadelphia Eagles. Latavius Murray is worth a look if you plan on fading Leonard Fournette, the top-priced running back on the board.

Like most running backs, Murray has excelled this season when his team was favored. His performances were better when favored by at least a field goal.

Per numberFire's metrics, Philadelphia has the fourth-best rushing defense in the NFL, so it's hard to be really confident in this recommendation. However, it is slim pickings when it comes down to just four teams. Given his goal line role, Murray does possess higher touchdown-upside than just about anyone outside of Fournette.

Murray is priced at $6,900 on FanDuel, which ranks fourth among all running backs. Murray may see lower ownership due to the difficult matchup but is worth starting in tournaments.
