Fantasy Football: 3 Things We Learned From Week 10

Corey Davis Is Happening

Titans head coach Mike Mularkey indicated last week that Corey Davis would play a lot on Sunday, and he wasn't kidding. After playing 75 percent of the team's snaps in Week 9, Davis played 86.7 percent of the snaps in Week 10. They weren't empty snaps either -- Davis led the team in targets in the win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

It marked the second time in just four games that Davis has reached ten targets, which is especially impressive considering that he left the game early in Week 2 and was limited in Week 9. That target volume is extremely valuable for fantasy football, but also demonstrates how demanding Davis' presence is on the field.

In the two seasons that Rishard Matthews has operated as the Titans' de facto WR1, he's hit ten targets just five times. Davis has now done it twice in just four games. His presence has already relegated veteran Eric Decker to a bit role -- Decker's snap percentage has dropped precipitously.

Davis hasn't yet had the opportunity to convert his targets into fantasy production. He's played against numberFire's number first- and second-ranked pass defenses and was just barely kept out of the end zone on Sunday. (Note: he's available in just over 50 percent of Yahoo! leagues as of this writing.)

With his upcoming schedule -- which includes our 29th- and 32nd-ranked pass defenses -- Davis could be in line for a late-season breakout.
