...and the Same Goes for Bilal Powell.

Although the Buccaneers have primarily been exploited by wide receivers, Sunday also makes for a terrific opportunity for Bilal Powell. 31-year-old Matt Forte has already been ruled out for the New York Jets in Week 10.

When Forte was inactive in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Powell was in on 65.71% of New York's offensive snaps, finishing the day with 25 touches, 190 total yards, and one score (albeit 75 yards and the touchdown came on what some labeled a fluky play).

Rookie Elijah McGuire played only 27.14% of offensive snaps that day.

Fast forward to last week when McGuire notably logged 29.85% of the team's offensive snaps. Note, though, that 11 of his 14 touches only came in the fourth quarter once the Jets led the Buffalo Bills 24-7. Up until that point it was Forte and Powell who had 17 and nine touches, respectively. The latter two had also accounted for 95.08% of the Jets' backfield snaps the previous game.

With Forte out the picture, Powell has been gifted a lead role against a Bucs defense ranked 21st-overall according to Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP. McGuire should only spell Powell, especially since it's the former who ranks 111 among 136 qualifiers in overall Rushing NEP.
