Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets

DraftKings Salary: $9,500

Gary Harris ($6,800) and Will Barton ($6,500) are both underpriced on DraftKings and are likely stronger per-dollar values than Nikola Jokic if targeting Denver Nuggets players. Barton ranks in the top 15 among all players in transition scoring while Harris' 80.2% effective field goal percentage in transition is the highest in the league among qualified players. They should both thrive in this up-tempo matchup, assuming Jamal Murray sits out once again.

If purely looking for top-end production in this spot, though, Jokic is your dude. He could easily wind up as the highest scorer on the entire slate, a sentiment that our projections agree with wholeheartedly. Those projections shouldn't come as any surprise, given the additional possessions that will be created by the up-tempo nature of this game and the way the Phoenix Suns have struggled to defend opposing bigs this season. Tyson Chandler creates a bit of a challenge to more traditional centers that draw a large portion of their fantasy production from rebounding and banging inside, but at this stage in his career, he does not possess the quickness to contend with a uniquely-skilled big man like Jokic.

Jokic has enough variance to his game to avoid him in cash formats, especially in a game that could blowout. However, if you are looking for the player who is most likely to post a 60-burger tonight, his name is Nikola Jokic. Give him a long look when constructing tournament lineups.
