Blue Jackets coach John Tortorella described what Johansen is dealing with as bumps and bruises. Despite missing practice on Wednesday, Johansen is still seen as probable for Friday's game, but until he's practicing again it's safer to call him day-to-day.

Johansen has just one goal in 14 games played this season, but he is third on the Blue Jackets in points thanks to tallying nine assists. We project him to score 17 goals and record 37 assists over the remaining course of the season. The 18 total goals would be his lowest total since scoring five in 40 games during the lockout-shortened 2012-'13 season.
