Sabres placing Robin Lehner in goal on Thursday
The Buffalo Sabres are starting Robin Lehner on Thursday against the Anaheim Ducks.
Lehner was the tough-luck loser on Monday, allowing two goals on 39 shots in a 2-1 loss in New Jersey. He got the night off on Tuesday in favor of Anders Nilsson, but they will go back to Lehner on Thursday. Despite being 1-3 in his last four starts, Lehner has been strong in that stretch with a 2.23 goals-against average and a .942 save percentage.
Our models project Lehner for 27.7 saves, 2.2 goals against and a 53.0 percent chance of getting a victory. He is numberFire's fourth-ranked fantasy goalie on Thursday out of 22 starters.
