Sergei Bobrovsky returning to action on Tuesday for Columbus
Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Sergei Bobrovsky is making his first start in over a week on Tuesday as he will be in goal versus the Carolina Hurricanes.
Bobrovsky has been out since January 8 with an undisclosed illness but looks good to go on Tuesday. Before getting sick, the netminder had won 15 of his last 16 starts with a .934 save percentage and a 1.84 goals-against average. He will be making his return against a hot Hurricanes team that has won four straight by scoring an average of 5.3 goals per game.
numberFire's algorithms give Bobrovsky a 53.0 percent chance of winning on Tuesday night while projecting him to allow 2.3 goals and stop 25.3 shots. He's our eighth-ranked fantasy option for the nine-game slate.
