Carey Price OUT

Carey Price (flu) aiming to play for Canadiens Thursday night

Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price (flu) practiced again on Wednesday and hopes to play on Thursday night.

What It Means:

"I just had a flu. It lasted a little bit longer than I expected, but I feel fine now," said Price. "I'd like to [play on Thursday night]. I'll see how I feel [on Thursday] and take it from there." He is working on gaining back his strength after losing seven or eight pounds due to the illness. Al Montoya has been excellent in Hutchinson's place, recording a NHL-best .962 save percentage through three starts.

For the year, our models currently expect Price to go 19-10-4 with a 2.15 goals against average and 0.93 save percentage.
