Nashville Predators netminder Pekka Rinne was left out to dry as the Predators fell to the San Jose Sharks, 5-0, in Game 7 on Thursday.

What It Means:

It wasn't a good game for Rinne, but he was left out to dry by his team. As it was, he stopped just 21 of 26 shots over 43:54 of work before being pulled in the third period. Carter Hutton came in to finish off the game and the season.

Rinne had a poor regular season with a .908 save percentage and 2.48 goals against average. He posted a .906 save percentage in the postseason.
