Nikita Kucherov totals two goals, one assist as Lightning take 3-1 lead
Tampa Bay Lightning wingman Nikita Kucherov scored two goals and added an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings in Game 4.
What It Means:
Kucherov scored a pair of power-play goals in the first and second periods to give the Bolts a 2-0 lead. He also assisted on Ondrej Palat's game-winning goal in the third. Kucherov is having himself quite the opening round. He's already up to five goals and eight points in the first four games of the series. Things now shift back to Tampa with the Bolts leading 3-1.
Kucherov had a superb season for Tampa Bay. He netted a career-best 30 goals with 36 assists, which tied a career high. He owned a 54.3 Corsi For Percentage and 0.4 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength, the latter of which was a career low.
