Ondrej Pavelec gets green light from Jets

Winnipeg Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec has been confirmed as the starter for Thursday night's matchup with the San Jose Sharks.

What It Means:

Pavelec allowed one goal on 29 shots in the Jets' win over the Minnesota Wild on Sunday. Michael Hutchinson started on Tuesday, but they’re going back to Pavelec tonight. Pavelec has gone 3-0-2 with a 1.96 goals against average (GAA), .933 save percentage (SV%) and one shutout in his last five starts. He draws a tough matchup against a Sharks team which has won four of their last five games.

Pavelec is our last-rated DFS option tonight on a deep Thursday slate, so we would recommend looking pretty much anywhere else when making your lineup. Our models give him just a 21.0 percent chance of earning a victory while projecting Pavelec to allow 3.14 goals on 28.74 attempts.
