Carolina's Cam Ward draws road start at Boston

Carolina Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward will be between the pipes for Tuesday's road game at the Boston Bruins.

What It Means:

Ward allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Hurricanes' win over the New York Rangers last Thursday. Eddie Lack got the nod on Saturday, but Ward will start tonight in Boston. He has won two of his last three starts and has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.52 goals against average and .906 save percentage in two starts against the Bruins this season.

We project him to permit 2.78 goals on 27.23 shots with a 37 percent chance of getting the victory. On a loaded 11-game night, Ward is our 20th-ranked goalie.
