Nathan MacKinnon unlikely to play this week for Colorado
Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon missed his seventh consecutive game with a knee injury Sunday, and he has not yet resumed skating.
What It Means:
This builds on the expectation MacKinnon won't play again this season as the Avalanche have only three games left. He sat out the last 18 games of the 2014-'15 season with a broken foot.
MacKinnon, 20, has 52 points (21 goals, 31 assists) in 72 games played this season, but he hasn't been good at driving possession. His Corsi For Percentage is 47.1, and his Relative Corsi For at Even Strength is 2.8.
