P.K. Subban

Canadiens' P.K. Subban (neck) won't return this weekend

Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban (neck) will miss Montreal's games on Saturday and Sunday.

What It Means:

It will be Subban's fourth and fifth consecutive games on the sidelines. He's a vital part of the team, but the Canadiens have no reason to rush him back given that they're not in the playoff hunt anyways.

Subban has 51 points (6 goals, 45 assists) in 68 games played this season and has been decent at driving possession. His Corsi For Percentage is 52.8, while his Relative Corsi For at Even Strength is 0.9. We currently project Subban to tally another eight points (two goals, six assists) over the remaining course of the season, but that assumes he takes the ice again soon.
