Ducks’ Corey Perry stays hot, scores in 3-2 victory
Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry scored his 27th goal of the season in a 3-2 shootout win over the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday.
What It Means:
Not a bad way to come off a four-point performance, including a hat trick, in his last outing. Perry added five shots in the win. After going pointless in four games, he has five points in the last two contests. That makes 45 points in 61 games for the 30 year-old.
We project Perry to net eight goals and six assists the rest of the way. His 53.2 Corsi For Percentage is his best clip since 2011-’12 while his -1.2 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength is a career-worst mark.
