Hurricanes’ Eddie Lack draws road start at New Jersey

Carolina Hurricanes goalie Eddie Lack will be between the pipes for Tuesday's road game against the New Jersey Devils.

What It Means:

Lack surrendered three goals on 21 shots in the Hurricanes’ loss to the Ottawa Senators on February 18th. Cam Ward started the last six games, but Lack will go tonight in New Jersey. Lack was 1-2-0 with a 2.70 goals against average and .882 save percentage in February. The Devils have lost five of their last six games.

Lack is our 14th-ranked goalie for Tuesday’s nine-game slate. We project him to permit 2.21 goals on 26.27 shots with a 36 percent chance of registering the win.
