Rick Nash

Rick Nash will sit on Wednesday and Friday for Rangers

New York Rangers winger Rick Nash (leg) will remain out of the lineup on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

What It Means:

Nash didn't practice on Tuesday and will miss his seventh straight game on Wednesday. One good sign is, Rangers coach Alain Vigneault said Nash is "almost pain free when he's walking around," but doctors advised him to remain off of the ice for a few more days. Nash is expected to miss Friday's game against the Los Angeles Kings, as well.

Nash has 33 points (12 goals, 21 assists) in 45 games played this season. He's been average at helping drive possession as his Corsi For Percentage is 50.2, and his Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength is 2.9. We project him to tally another 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists) over the remaining course of the season.
