Paul Stastny, Troy Brouwer have big games as Blues blast Penguins

St. Louis Blues center Paul Stastny collected a goal and three assists to help the Blues to a 5-2 win against the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins Monday night.

What It Means:

Troy Brouwer also had a goal and an assist for St. Louis, including the go-ahead goal early in the third period. The Blues' other goals were scored by Alexander Steen, Vladimir Tarasenko and Kevin Shattenkirk. After a five-game losing streak, the Blues are 4-1-0 in their past five games.

Brouwer, who had a game-high six shots on net, now has nine goals and 10 assists on the season. We project him to record seven more goals with eight more helpers the rest of the way. Stastny has 18 assists and five goals for the year. Our models see him netting five more goals with 15 assists over the rest of the campaign.
