Hurricanes' Victor Rask nets overtime winner in wild win over Arizona

Carolina Hurricanes center Victor Rask salvaged the Hurricanes’ from disaster with the game winner in their 5-4 overtime victory against the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday night.

What It Means:

he Hurricanes led 3-0 late in the second and then led 4-1 early in the third period before allowing three unanswered goals. Rask, who also got an assist, has points in four consecutive games, with seven total in that span. Justin Faulk (goal, assist), Andrej Nestrasil, Kris Versteeg, and Phillip Di Giuseppe got the other goals. Elias Lindholm recorded three assists.

Rask has nine goals and 22 points in 30 games, a nice improvement over his 11 goals and 33 points during his rookie season. We project him to record 32 more points (12 goals and 20 assists) over the final 52 games.
