Patriots reportedly adding 2016 first-rounder Corey Coleman
The New England Patriots are signing free agent wide receiver Corey Coleman, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Coleman, the 15th overall pick in 2016, was traded by the Cleveland Browns for a seventh-round pick this offseason before being released by the Buffalo Bills at final cuts. His career has gotten off to a rough start but he remains an impressive physical talent and will have an optimal opportunity to turn things around in New England.
Coleman caught 23 passes (57 targets) for 305 yards and 2 touchdowns in nine games for the Browns last season.
