Raiders to release Martavis Bryant following another suspension
Oakland Raiders wide receiver Martavis Bryant, who is appealing a drug suspension by the NFL, will be released by the end of the day.
While the details of the suspension have not been released, Bryant is likely facing another lengthy ban as he missed the entire 2016 season due to suspension. For the Raiders, it puts a pin in another questionable move for the team as they traded a third-round pick in May to acquire Bryant form the Steelers.
Bryant caught 50 passes for 603 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2017 but may have played his last snap in the NFL.
