Texans' D'Onta Foreman (Achilles) likely headed for reserve/PUP
John McClain of the Houston Chronicle expects Houston Texans running back D'Onta Foreman (Achilles) to open the season on the reserve/PUP list
Foreman hasn't progressed as well as the Texans had hoped after tearing his Achilles Tendon in November of 2017. If Houston places Foreman on the PUP list, the second-year back will be forced to miss the first six games of the season. That would solidify Lamar Miller as a three-down back with Alfred Blue backing him up.
numberFire's models project Foreman for 127.8 total touches, 564.2 total yards, and 3.7 touchdowns in 2018. Those numbers would drop if he missed substantial time.
