Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is projected to lead all tight ends in receptions in 2018, per numberFire's models.
Kelce led all tight ends in catches in 2017 with 83 catches in 2017, his second straight year with at least 80 receptions. Even with the switch from Alex Smith to second-year quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Kelce is expected to play a significant role in the Chiefs' offense this year and finish as a top three tight end option in fantasy.
Our models project Kelce for 82.7 catches, 988.3 yards, and 6.9 touchdowns in 2018.
