Seahawks' Nick Vannett limited by back issue the last two seasons
Seattle Seahawks tight end Nick Vannett has been dealing with a back issue the last two years but is the healthiest he has ever been, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
There were modest expectations for the tight end after he was taken in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, but Vannett has produced just 15 catches in his career. With Jimmy Graham in Green Bay, Vannett will have the opportunity to seize the starting job in Seattle. His main competition is veteran Ed Dickson. Vannett is a deep sleeper and could be a solid streaming option in fantasy if he can stay on the field in 2018.
Our models project Vannett for 23.4 receptions, 193..9 yards, and 2.6 touchdowns in 2018.
