Eli Manning: Sterling Shepard 'primed for a big year' in Giants' offense
New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard is "primed for a big year," believes quarterback Eli Manning.
"I thought Sterling had a great camp during the spring," Manning said. "I think he's primed for a big year." After Shepard scored 8 touchdowns as a rookie, injuries limited him to only 11 games last season but it sounds like he's healthy and ready to contribute for a Giants' offense that is filled with talented skill-players.
numberFire's models currently project Shepard to catch 60.6 passes (90.0 targets) for 777.4 yards and 3.86 touchdowns in 2018. He's the WR47 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
