Buccaneers won't have Vincent Jackson, Austin Seferian-Jenkins
Wide receiver Vincent Jackson (knee) and tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (shoulder) will be inactive for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8 at the Atlanta Falcons, ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms.
What It Means:
This was very much expected, despite head coach Lovie Smith being coy about Jackson's availability following Friday's practice. Both players were listed as doubtful, and they will ride the pine. Wide receivers Mike Evans and Donteea Dye will operate as quarterback Jameis Winston's top targets.
Evans is the 45th wide receiver in Total Net Expected Points (NEP) per play, out of 60 receivers with at least 30 targets. He ranks 39th among the same in Total NEP.
