DeSean Jackson not expected to play for Washington Week 7
Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson is not expected to play in Week 7, according to Britt McHenry of ESPN.
Jackson was set to make his return in Week 6, but he suffered a setback with in practice, forcing him to sit yet again. His absence will mean continued target volume for both Pierre Garcon and Jamison Crowder.
Both receivers are in a good spot for Week 7 as they face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers rank 27th in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play. Neither Crowder nor Garcon has been overly efficient -- ranking 51st and 53rd respectively in Reception NEP per target out of 63 wide receivers with at least 25 targets -- but the volume until Jackson's return makes them options in fantasy.
